We have assisted Chigwell Construction with the traffic management design on Lea Bridge Road – London for them to work on the adjacent building. A crane will be situated on the footpath and bus lane eastbound. Pedestrians will be diverted into the road protected by pedestrian barrier and 2-way traffic lights.
Multiple Traffic Management Plans completed for another major project, this time for the construction of a new roundabout on the A5 in Rugby.
Although most of the work will be completed under road narrows; the speed limit need to be reduced from national speed limit to 40mph. Once the main kerb line has been constructed it will be time for resurfacing and construction of the islands which will be done under a road closure. We’ve created a plan to divert traffic around this road closure using 2 routes, the M1/M6 and local traffic running through Rugby Town Centre.
We have attached one of the traffic management phases which is a good example of how the traffic will be managed most of the time and also another plan showing the diversion route(s).
This is the first of many traffic management phasing plans completed today to allow works to start on a new road layout for London Road in Ascot, outside LVS School and Sixth Form. This particular phase has allowed for work to take place in the existing footpath by setting up a temporary pedestrian walkway complete with 2 temporary pedestrian crossings.
